Privacy Policy
This policy describes how GELOR (we, us, our) handles information through our coming-soon website and launch email signup. For privacy questions, contact gelorapparel@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
If you select “Notify me”, we collect your email address, the signup date and time, and a record of the consent wording associated with your signup. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive information that we do not need.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. These are separate from the email signup records.
2. Why we use it
We use signup details to maintain the GELOR launch list and contact subscribers about the launch. We use correspondence to respond to enquiries and technical information to operate the website and address abuse or faults. Signing up is optional; you can browse without subscribing, but we cannot send you launch updates without an email address.
3. Where information is handled
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites, with signup records stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. The subscriber list is not publicly displayed. Google Gmail handles messages sent to our contact address. Our page also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which causes your browser to contact Google.
These providers may process information outside Australia. The current setup is not configured as Australia-only storage, and we have not confirmed every processing location. Contact us if you need more information before subscribing.
The signup form does not currently sync emails to Shopify or an email campaign service and does not send an automatic confirmation email. If we introduce a campaign provider, we will update this policy to explain the arrangement before using it. We do not sell the launch list. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
4. Cookies and security
To reduce automated signup abuse, we store a hashed identifier derived from your IP address, an attempt count and a ten-minute expiry time. This identifier is pseudonymous, not anonymous; the rate-limit table does not store your raw IP address. Expired records become eligible for removal after a further 24 hours and are cleared in batches as new signup requests arrive, so they may remain longer during quiet periods. People sharing an internet connection may share a signup limit.
The current coming-soon page has no GELOR-added advertising pixels or analytics trackers. Hosting and access-control services may use cookies or similar technology for essential functions. External providers handle their own service data under their privacy policies.
We use HTTPS and restrict access to signup records. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
5. Retention and removal
We retain signup details while needed for the launch list. When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify them, except for limited records needed for legal obligations, consent evidence or respecting an opt-out. Removal requests are handled manually; the site does not currently provide automatic deletion.
6. Your choices and requests
You can withdraw consent, ask to leave the launch list, request access or correction, or request deletion by emailing gelorapparel@gmail.com, preferably from the subscribed address. We may ask for reasonable verification before disclosing or changing information. Withdrawing consent stops future launch marketing; it does not affect necessary records of your request.
Any launch marketing emails we send will identify GELOR and provide a way to unsubscribe. You do not need to wait for an email to request removal.
7. Questions and complaints
Email us with the details of any privacy concern. We will review it and respond as soon as reasonably practicable. If unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for guidance on whether it can consider your complaint.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our information-handling practices change. The date above identifies this version. This policy covers the current coming-soon service, not a future checkout; we will review it before introducing sales or materially different uses of personal information.
